Universal Remote Control Replacement Kit
Chamberlain 955D Universal Receiver; Universal Remote Control Replacement Kit
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.
You can trust this review, i hope you can try to buy this product and then you know this product good or no. Next time you can make a review for another people.

range is mediocre and it is prone to interference
I deleted my 1-star review of this product after I got the interference issues worked out. When I first installed it, I could only get it to work if I held the transmitter right next to the receiver. I e-mailed chamberlain's tech support and after a few days got a stock message about interference. Basically it sounded like if your house had electricity, all bets were off and you were going to have trouble with electrical interference. I was skeptical because the only electrical appliance near the receiver was the garage door opener mechanism itself, but I moved it to another outlet just to check, and sure enough the range improved, and while not great, it is usable now. Strangely, its better from outside the garage than inside. From the inside of the garage I have to hold it out the window to get it to work, but at least I don't have to get out of the car.

It was very easy to install and program. If it weren't so interference prone I would have given it a 5-star...

A nice fix for a challenging problem.
After 12 years our 433 Mhz Liftmaster openers stopped working - some new form of interference was stopping the openers from functioning properly - except inside the garage. After working through all the diagnostics we were looking at buying new openers or new boards. I bought this instead - 20 minutes of hook up and another 15 for programming the remotes - and bingo we can open the doors from the street. It works with Home Link (07 and 10 models). The cheap wire used to connect the unit to the opener cost them a star - the wire kept breaking after the required stripping - and I expect it may still happen again after installation.
Unit functionality is better than the original openers. I ordered a second for the other garage door.
Easy replacement - need to know the trick on the range.
I purchased a rental house that had a good opener but a non-functional receiver. This product was easy to install but it does need a 110 outlet. It uses "doorbell" wire of the type that may already be in place for the inside-the-garage push button. If you have an outlet in a convenient spot or can install one, you can replace the existing inside-the-garage opener button with this and not even need to run new wire to the opener. However a generous supply of "doorbell" wire is supplied with the unit.

Initially upon installation I was disappointed with the range. (I had to have the car almost against the door to make it work.) However, I took 6 or 8 feet of the door bell wire that was provided and spliced it to the short antenna wire that comes out of the unit. I tacked this extension of the antenna out of sight with the fasteners provided for the wire. Now I can open or close the door from three houses away.
