Additional equipment may be required
Rather than replace our perfectly good 30 year old garage door opener just because a couple of our transmitters quit working, it made more sense to replace just the receiver and transmitters at about 1/3 of the cost. In the description for the receiver, it says it works with any opener. This isn't exactly true. It will work, as is, with any opener that has a 3 wire connection. Since mine is 30 years old, it only uses 2 wires. Turns out that I also need to buy an adapter that converts the 3 wire to 2 wire and includes a power supply for the new receiver. Cost for the adapter is around $15; not a lot, but it would have earned 5 stars if it had mentioned this in the description.
Also... ironically, the company sells a bundled package with a receiver and transmitters at a higher cost than if you buy them separately so be sure to compare the cost options.

great replacement garage door receiver
After 30 years, my automatic garage door opener started to have problems. I replaced the battery in the transmitter but still continued to have problems and then it stopped working all together. I decided the receiver was dead and found this replacement which appeared to be compatible. Installed it in minutes and it works great with my existing transmitters.
Hard to find
These things are getting harder to find but had no problem here and at a resonable price. Took 5 minutes to install.
