Decent replacement remote
Having two buttons for two different openers is quite nice. Like the original remotes, this is still fairly large, but tucks out of the way on the visor anyway. The only nitpicks I have with it are that the buttons could be larger, and the DIP switches to select the security code are much more flimsy than the original (but you set them once and leave it).

Update: after having used the remote for several weeks now, it quite often fails to open the door on the first button push (even when stationary directly in front of the door), and takes several pushes to get it to open.

Cannot operate 3 doors
There are 3 buttons but inside only two dip switches so you can only program two of the switches. One of the switches lets you control either the top left or right button, but not both at the same time.

doesn't always work
sometimes I can be at the end of the driveway and other times have to be right next to the opener. not much choice out there if you need an opener. amazing we can build phones that can track our every movement but can't made garage door openers that look good, and work without hassles.

Great Keychain
This is a great remote for two garage doors that have dip switches and a great alternative to having HomeLink in your car. This is better because you can take it with you if let's say you go out for the night and your friends pick you up. It is a little larger than the keyless entry remote for my car, so I keep it on a separate keychain with my house keys. It's durable, and has great range.

Works Great. A perfect match to the 20+ year old original controller. Flipped the code switches to match and put it to use. No problems.
What A Deal!
Our old gate operator was the exact same model, but finally wore out. The company that maintains the gate on our lane quoted me a price of almost $100 dollars for this operator. Not compatible with all remotes.
Caution, this remote has ten switches. If you are replacing a remote that only has nine switches, it is not compatible. Confirmed by the manufacturer. UPDATE: I was ordering for the wrong brand. I thought my opener was Stanley, however it really is Alstar. I'm a dope.

Stanley 1050 Garage Door Remote
I bought my Stanley garage door opener in 1995 and the remote was shot. Took a chance on this item. Didn't work at first until support suggested reversing the dipsticks in the up/down position (old remote sticks up, this remote sticks down). It works great! Has much longer range than my old one and I love the smaller size.
Picture and Description are WRONG
This is a "Stanley" brand 1050 remote, NOT the small slim one with the yellow button shown in the picture, and not the one shown in the "DESCRIPTION" as 1/2" thick by 2 inch wide by 4 inch tall! It is 1 inch thick, 2 1/2 wide & 3 1/2 tall.
